About the Developers
Stonebridge is the result of a successful partnership between Architect Robert Corna and The K&D Group, Inc. In 1999, they broke ground on the first building to begin the Stonebridge legacy. Collectively, they bring to this massive, multi-phase project all of the professional skills necessary to make Stonebridge a highly attractive housing alternative - including experience in architectural design, land development, construction and building management.
Robert Corna
Few people have been as instrumental in the revitalization of the West Bank of the Flats. Not only did architect Bob Corna co-develop Nautica in the Flats, but he has also been the creative force behind every building (residential and commercial) that is today part of Stonebridge. Over the past 35 years in his role with Architectural Concepts Building and Design, he has designed, built and developed literally dozens of outstanding and award-winning projects throughout Northeast Ohio. Now his talent is being focused on creating a lifestyle community like none other in or around Cleveland. It was Bob's vision that is today being transformed into the 12 phase, 2000 + unit Stonebridge project.
The K&D Group
Founded in 1984 by Karen Harrison and Doug Price, The K&D Group is today the largest owner and manager of apartments in Northeast Ohio. It oversees more than 13,000 units in 38 different locations with the help of 500+ employees. Additionally, the company owns and manages several commercial and hotel portfolios in the region.
Despite the economic challenges that have plagued Cleveland and much of Ohio, Karen and Doug have managed to develop a proven formula for acquiring and renovating properties with upside potential. Their company's explosive growth in the past decade is proof of their ability to anticipate the market and create a successful real estate product.
